VIVUNES is the renewable energy based company, the primary focus of Vivunes was to outsource and to produce recycled polymer profiles as nailer boards which is an excellent substitute for timber in construction industries and well recognized in India and Middle East Market. We have been very successful in obtaining orders from major construction companies.
While continuing to do this business, as a diversification measure, we got into manufacturing of Solar Dryers with the guidance from leading Agricultural Universities and Bayer Material Science (currently known as Covestro.

Why Solar Dryer?
Solar Drying technology is one of the oldest technology – Using Sun as the drying medium. This technology is being used for the preservation of agricultural products since a long time
India produce about 50 Million Tons of Fruits and 85 Million Tons of Vegetables per year, but just about 2% of this goes for processing. Over 20-30% is spoiled due to improper handling and storage, and the rest of the produce is consumed in fresh form. Solar drying technology increases the shelf life of the food products. It will be a boost up for the farming community to save endangered species that goes into existence.
In India malnutrition is big problem due to lack of nutrients. According to WHO report, in 10 new born babies 9 babies having malnutrition it’s because of low consumption of fruits & vegetables in our daily diet. High volumes of fruits and vegetables are wasted in various forms amounting to around 30% of total production. Considering above scenario, drying of Pepper, Pineapple, Jackfruit & mangos with minimal processing (Dehydrated Fruits) gives good livelihood opportunities for all youth & women. It brings a good value creation for all fruits and vegetables & provides handsome earning source.

The Solar Dryers designed by VIVUNES are capable of producing fine quality of dried food products that re free from dust, insects etc. Decolourisation of the food products doesn’t takes place by this methods of drying as Air Circulation fans will be provided inside the dryer for even drying of food products.
Products We Offer
Solar Compact Dryer
The structure is parabolically configured to create Greenhouse Effect inside the drying chamber. By creating Greenhouse Effect inside the drying chamber, the efficiency of the dryer can be enhanced further resulting in the drying of food products to fine quality.
The dryer has the capacity of drying food products of around 20 Kgs per batch by which the final product after drying will weigh around 4-5 Kgs. The drying time will vary from products to products and the amount of solar radiation on that particular day.
